Correct coolant

I have an an 08 Tribeca 3.6. What is the correct coolant to use? It is green now bu some places say blue

Green is the older coolant. Blue is the new extended coolant.

I can't imagine that your vehicle would know the difference. Sneak up to it when it is dark and...

Are you trying to top off or refill after almost emptying? A full flush once in a while can get a lot of gunk out of the system.

I stand corrected. I use only green and Water Wetter. Seems like it has gotten more complicated...

I very recently read that the Preston’s Platinum anti-freeze, meets or exceeds the blue Subaru coolant. Is this true? Also, are any of you running the generic green coolants in your Suby’s, and how is it working out for you?
