I have manual transmission in my 2018 Forester. After 45,000 miles its clutch was burned. I went to private mechanic (not dealer), to replace the burned clutch with the new one. After the job was done and new original clutch was installed, the car’s ride became very different. First of all there is a forth-back “swinging” feeling vibration, particularly on the gears 3 and 4. I drove the car about 2 weeks and brought it back to the same mechanic. He didn’t find anything wrong with new clutch, saying that’s everything is fine. But I hate to drive this car now instead enjoying like it was with the previous clutch. Kinda severe disappointment. I don’t know what to do now. Please advise.

What parts did they replace, specifically? Can you bring it to another shop for a free diagnosis?
