Hi all,
I have a 2020 Outback XT. Ever since I took ownership I have noticed a quirk with the climate control. I am unable to gradually increase or decrease the temperature. Its either very hot, or very cool. At 66-67 degree setting its blowing very hot air, and if I bump it down to 64-65 degrees it starts blowing cold air. Obviously something screwed up in the computer or a sensor Im guessing. Anyone else had this issue.

Hi,
If you are using the controls located on either side of the display it should be able to gradually go up and down in temperature. I would make sure you are using inside circulation when blowing the hot air. Also check and adjust your fan speed. If you are bumping the level down make sure the AC and max airflow have not mistakenly been cut on. I have the 2020 Outback Limited but have not experienced this issue. You are sill covered under your new car warranty I would not hesitate to bring it to the service center where the vehicle was purchased. You can also speak with the product specialist where the vehicle was purchased so they can walk you through the features.
