2017 manual trans, 103k miles. A new problem that started right after I got 4 new tires (and a new clutch- I was really disappointed the clutch died at 100k)). When I turn at low speeds, either way, the car makes knocking noises and the steering is incredibly choppy. It gets worse the longer the car has be driven. For instance, in the mornings when first starting it’s hardly noticeable but if o go on a 2-3 trip it’s so bad I’m afraid the car is destroying itself. Any ideas? I’ve had a Jeep and know what 4wd turning feels like, but this feels more mechanical than tires skipping.

Wheel bearings? Loose wheels studs? damaged CV joints. Bring it to a reputable service center.
