Hi..I have a 23 sport model...getting light shade ceramic for side windows mainly for heat rejection..correct me if wrong but I believe that ceramic film absorbs heat making the glass hotter while metallic film actually reflects it thus keeping glass closer to ambient temp while parked..if correct would a metallized film be safer for the moon roof as the glass would not be subject as much to big temp swings? Also I know about possible signal interference but the metal film would only be on moon roof so maybe not an issue...thanks in advance..

If you have keyless entry, it won't work with a metaliized film on your windows. The sunroof doesn't matter because the signal from the fob does not go through the roof. You need to check the heat rejection rating of the films you are comparing.

Thanks..I ended up getting llumar ceramic clear air 80 for the front doors and ceramic 50% for the sunroof...immediate big difference in heat rejection, especially on the clear air 80 film...the llumar ctx 50 on moonroof helps to a lesser degree..installer wouldn't go with a lower number darker tint on the laminated roof to avoid possible cracking...glass on both definitely hotter to touch as expected..AC doesn't work as hard..paid $280 for both with lifetime warranty..well worth it..
