Hi to All,
I am a new Subaru owner so opted to join the big family of Subaru Forums.
My name is David Attard and I am 57 years young.
I have been driving Land Rovers for the last 35 years and wanted to have a more classy comfortable cars but still a robust one.
So I came to a decision to get my hands on a 2010, 2.5 petrol manual Forester. The car has clocked less than 40k kilometers and in very good condition.
I got to know that this car is the only one over the Island and all other Foresters run on a 2.0 engine.
After driving it for a couple of days, I noticed that in between shifting gears [1st to 2nd and so on] the engine revs up by 200-500 revs more without having had the accelerator pressed.
Has anyone ever had this issue?
Can I get some response?
Is there a solution to this?
Overall I am very happy with the car but, I feel that the car is not running the way it should be.
