Sorry but needed to put my finger in to this. What is wrong in USA? If Bush
get elected again, I just wonder are you serious there?

Maybe you would understand if you were an American.

We often wonder why the French like Jerry Lewis ourselves.

Gah, not here... No not here.

For a second I thought I clicked on rec.motorcycles, then saw a recent post
about the WRX.

Well, 49% of us were.

Unfortunately the Christian right is scarily pervasive here and they
love a guy who loves Jesus...even if the guy himself is incompetent.

Time for 4 more beers.

I hope I didnt offended anyone, this is just my humble personal opinion and
I cant stop wondering is it everything to do with honor and war or something
else. As I see it, Bush is doing nothing right and seems more of an comedian
than serious politician. And for those who thing I would go for Kerry -
well, same to me, if it just wouldnt be Bush.

Umm, even if ALL of the alleged Christian Right voted for Bush, it still
wouldn't have given him the election. There ARE other voters in the USA.

If Bush is sooooooo incompetent, what does that make the two guys he
defeated?

Simply less popular.

The Ford Pinto, as you may recall, was a relatively popular car. But
that didn't change the fact it was a seriously flawed piece of crap.
:)

Best Regards,

Well, starts with the same letter, Finnish :))
You need to pick another letter then. Seriously, do not believe the crap
the world liberal press feeds you about Bush.

Thats 20/20 hindsight. At the time the Pinto was being sold, no one had any
idea it was a firetrap.

Don't look at me -- I voted for Nader, just as I did last time. Some would say I
have thrown away my vote, but decades of voting experience has convinced me that
voting for either major party over has been a waste of my vote, anyway.

By voting for Nader, I can at least derive whatever small solace available to me
iin the knowledge that I have not been -- and will not be -- directly complicit
in the crimes and follies of my so-called "leaders who have been elected by the
great unwashed.

But -- like those thoughtful, intelligent Germans and Japanese of the 1930s who
witnessed their nations descending into militaristic madness around them, yet
lacked the influence to change events or the means to flee from them -- I and
mine are fated to sink into the abyss with the majority.

I could just cry . . . :(

I don't think you did, but it's important to remember that this is an
automotive newsgroup, not a political one. Not that there are any
moderators or FAQs in this group, we're a pretty informal bunch and there've
been all kinds of non-Subaru/Automotive threads over the years. I've lurked
in many newsgroups over the years, and this is by far the least hostile and
most friendly. Go check out some other groups, rec.motorcycles for
instance, and you'll see that some of them have been reduced to virtual
rubble over the past year because of political postings. The last thing I
want to see is that happen here. I'm not saying you can't voice your
opinion here - you certainly can. But topics like politics and religion are
powder kegs, and are best left to forums and groups designated for such
discussion.

And on that note... What kind of Subaru(s) do you have? I've got a '95
Outback, and hopefully soon I'll get mom's "old" '99 Forester. Here's to
hoping she goes for the Forester XT as a replacement so I can drive that
too. ;)

I figure most people were smart enough not to buy a Pinto twice, The US on the
other hand...

Dear Matt, I totally understand this and will not continue to open my mouth
on this issue in the future. I just sort of wanted to have opinions from
people in a same boat (Subarus) just to see if this has any effect on who to
pick in the elections. But it was maybe childish so lets continue to talk
about great cars like Subaru.

I`m still waiting for my first Subaru WRX to arrive in just few weeks time.
Have experience of Subarus before, but this one is my first WRX. It will be
tuned up with Prodrive`s PPP package + Prodrive springs + down/uppipe mod.
Target is to get 280+ hp in the first place and after that see if there
something still to do ;-)

You've GOT to learn some grammar.

I read the title and thougth you were happy to have bush as your god
once again. But then I read the message, and figured you meant "Bush?
My God! Again?" as opposed to "Bush, my god. Again!"

oooooh! SLAM DUNK!

Well 55% of us don't give a rip what you think.
