Best engine rebuild kit

Hi everyone.
New to the forum. Recently bought a 03 Outback with a blown head gasket(s). Plan is to take the motor and computer out and put them in my Vw Bus. Couple questions:

Which motor do I have, assuming original/stock? EJ25?

Can anyone recommend a good engine rebuild kit, quality parts, for a stock rebuild?

OEM Subaru gaskets are best. Call a local Subaru dealer and give them the vin# they will get you the exact parts.
