Battery and Brake lights on together!

I see my battery and brake lights flashing on and off in a random pattern,
sometimes staying on, other times staying off. I believe it is the
alternator, if anyone can confirm this, it would be great. Thanks - Dan

After a belt check then have the battery checked then check for bad
connections from the battery
