Aero cross bars for Thule cargo box??

Hi! New to group..

I have a 2017 Subaru Forester. Looking to buy a Thule cargo box, and need to buy the cross bars first. I wanted to buy the factory set I'm assuming - the "Aero Cross Bar Set" from Subaru to save money, and buy the Thule brand cargo box. I couldn't get a straight answer from the Subaru parts department on if they are compatible. On the Subaru website, it says both items are compatible with my vehicle, but does not specify if they are compatible with each other. I would assume so? But wanted to verify before I spent any money. Don't want to buy Thule brand cross bars if I don't need to.
