98 Subaru Forester A/T Temp Light Flashing

Please help! Need to get TCM codes to find problem.I understand I can jump
term 6 to ground on diag. connector. I believe I found connector lower
right side on steering wheel(8 wires)but no terminals are numbered. Anyone
have an Idea?? No other symptoms Yet.. Thanks
