Have a friend I am checking for on his car. This is a 97 Impreza outback sport 2.2 AWD Transmission after many miles on it needs some transmission work. Talked to the parts guy at the dealer ( and question what he knew about a transmission) but anyway he give me a list of parts that he thought I may need in a rebuild. He said synchronizers aren’t available. If they aren’t, is there somewhere else to get parts? For a rebuild? How can I identify this transmission?
