I have just checked my ODB codes and the results are puzzling:
11 : Crank Angle Sensor or circuit
24 : Air Control Valve or circuit
32 : Oxygen Sensor or circuit
33 : Vehicle Speed Sensor or circuit
42 : Idle Switch or circuit
I cleared the codes yesterday, (green and black links plugged in with
hot engine and restarted).
Checked codes again this morning, 11 : Crank Angle Sensor had cleared
but the others remain.
One puzzle is that 33 is still there - I had a speedo failure a couple
of months ago but since replacing the Vehicle Speed Sensor on the diff
the speedo has worked perfectly and no Check Engine warning. (It was
on with the duff sensor).
There is still no Check Engine warning light.
The biggest puzzle is that with the four remaining Sensor failures
still showing why is there no Check Engine warning and why do I not
have any obvious symptoms?
Apart from the occasional five-seconds-to-fire-up-when-hot it starts
first kick and I get 27mpg driving six miles to work over hilly
terrain with lots of bends.
And just where are all those failed sensors?
