2026 Crosstrek Limited

The lease expired on my 2024 CTW, and I now have a 2026 Limited. It feels more like...a car. Acceleration is slightly faster, and on-road handling is better because there is less body roll. Also, the front seats are slightly narrower, which means that the seat belt doesn't get caught behind the seat when you get out. There are a few minor improvements, like heated steering wheel. The system can "learn" your eye position, so it will notify you if you take your eyes off the road. There are pairs of lights in a heads-up display showing if you have adaptive cross control or lane centering turned on (I turned off these lights). This car came with a cargo net, so no more sliding/dumping groceries!
The only new annoyance (yes, the infotainment is still slow) is that the AUTO setting for the climate control sometimes doesn't come back on when you restart the car.
