Has anyone had any issues with the car not shifting correctly? My forester will rev up to over 5 RPMS and then will shift! Its happened to me like 3 different times!

What has Googling told you? Sounds pretty common on the new stuff. Tranny and electronics issues abound.

I had it happen to me on my legacy if you accelerate quickly to higher rpms and then let off the gas abruptly the cvt will stick/lag. If you accelerate slower or let off the gas slowly seems to fix the issue. I’m sure it’s not an engine or cvt issue now but who knows what it will cause down the road. On that note I just switch to the hybrid Forster with the ecvt and issue gone
