2024 Crosstec failed tint inspection....

I have my 1st Subaru ever. It has 9,900 miles on it and needed it's 1st NYS Inspection. I thought it was a no brainer, 10,000 miles, all stock, BUT Jiffy Lube failed the state inspection because of tinting on the rear window, and rear side windows, I'm a bit pissed. I even showed the tec the original brochure showing the tint as factory. Any thoughts?

Move? sorry could not help it. But for real...Go to Jiffy Lube for nothing. Try another real shop or even better a dealer..

Sorry, but JL doesn't know what their doing.
Heavy tint is only not allowed on the passenger and driver front side windows.
So an officer of the law can see if your drawing a weapon upon him during a stop.
Go somewhere else for your inspection..
