Passenger airbag off light stays on when my wife is in the seat.

I ran into something similar reading up on these, the passenger seat has a weight sensor and it can get fooled by a seat cushion or cover, leaning toward the door, or sitting with feet tucked up. Might be worth having her sit square with feet on the floor and pulling off any cushion to see if the light changes. If it keeps doing it on a 2024 I would just let the dealer look at it under warranty rather than guessing. Which model is it?
