Hi..the blind spot warning on my Forester with 3,000 miles recently is working only occasionally..both driver and passenger bsw mirror lights often fail to illuminate when vehicles in the adjacent lanes pass by...this problem just started in the last week or so and prior to this the bsw system worked great..there' s no obvious sensor or bumper damage/dirt and the bsw system is confirmed on... being an intermittent problem, I wonder if it could be an electrical glitch ..I took some video to show the dealer in case the system decides to work fine when a tech checks it..anyone have issues with this system? thanks..

Since my initial post the bsw has been working fine about 90% of the time..I will mention it to dealer at my next scheduled service so there's a record..with it being intermittent idk what they'll do but if they find something I'll update..

Hi. Do you have any update to this? My car is suffering the exact issue. Subaru tells me my car is calibrated and working fine yet frequently the Blind spot Right side fails to work.
I didn't go to dealer yet..however bsw has been working fine last montb or so..when stopped it doesn't show cars passing by but according to manual this is normal..my vehicle has to be going a minimum of 7 mph before it activates..I thought I used to see bsw light on while stopped and cars passing me but I'm not sure..old age messing with my memory
