2023 Rear seat belt chime

I have a 2023 Outback, my dogs set off the center seat belt alarm. I have both of the side belts buckled, but I do not want to buckle the center one from the ceiling. My dog is clipped in, but has enough room to sit in the middle where he sets off the chime intermittently. Amy suggestions?

Try this link and read all the comments. Your version either seat pressure sensors or a motion detection system with an ultrasonic sensor. Confirm with the Owners Manual and the selling dealer.
The system is used for child and pet safety.

Any way to do the same for front seats? We ALWAYS wear belts, but sometimes the 1 minute backing out of the garage is brutal listening to the ding. I know that it should be a must do first thing - but women....
