2022 legacy xt and 2022 wrx engine the same?

i own the 2022 legacy xt its a 2.4 turbo.. is it the same as the wrx.. im wondering because i wanna know
if i can swap mods..

Knowing how Subaru likes to share things between platforms to cut cost I would think they'd be the same if not very similar with some minor differences like a tune.

No, it is not the same engine. I'd double check before doing any major mods.

For instance, the Pistons on the Legacy vs the WRX are different part numbers, which would lead me to confidently say they are not the same and have different components.
