Hi All~
I purchased a dealer owned Legacy with 6,000 miles about 11 months ago. Right away I noticed two identical areas of roof warp near the rear window. Subaru of Morristown told someone must have jumped on the roof even though there were no shoe scuff marks or other areas on the hood or trunk that were affected. Over the past 10 months of ownership the warping has increased to other areas of the roof and I've been told this is called tin canning, usually due to poor/too thin metal and/or bad welds.
Interestingly, Subaru has changed the Legacy roof design on models with sunroofs which made me wonder, am I the only owner with this issue?
Thanks for replies!
