I have a 2018 Subaru Impreza with 113,000 miles, and after running diagnostics and performing two recalibrations, it turns out that the EyeSight camera needs to be replaced. The total cost for the replacement and installation is $3,700, with Subaru covering the additional recalibration at no additional charge.
I really value the EyeSight feature and don’t feel comfortable driving without it. However, I’m not thrilled about spending $3,700 on the repair. I've looked into buying used cameras online, which would be much cheaper, but I’ve read that this approach comes with certain risks.
I’d appreciate any advice or insights on how to handle this situation.
