2017 windshield question

This is my first Subaru. 2017 Forester. Noticed this on the exterior of windshield. I have the passenger side wiper blade lifted up, so you can see the black “trim?” Piece

Not sure if there’s something wrong, since it’s not symmetrical? Also lifts up toward center left. Any help would be appreciated. TIA

Hello. I too have a 2017 Forester. I am not clear about what you're asking exactly? Are you concerned because the two wipers are of different length? If so, that is normal. Many, if not all cars have asymetrical wiper sizes. Are you asking about something else? It's not working? Please clarify. Thanks.

I thought there was something wrong with the front cowl, but after some further research (looking at a neighbors Forester), I see it is asymmetrical by design.
