Hello!
I've just bought a used 2015 Subaru forester 2.5i Premium. I have to push and hold the buttons to turn off the lane and obstacle warnings every flipping time I turn the car on. Is there a way to have the car "remember" that I turned these off (like some "turn your left blinker on six times and put the key in the ignition twice" type short cut or something??)

I don't know.
I know to get autostart disabled you have to install a special box on the CAN buss to do it but that's just for the uber aggravating auto stop that most folks love to hate. I think the Trump administration is doing away with that nonsense so it's slated for extinction.

Why would you want to turn these off? Asking for a friend.

If one can't drive properly without the nannies...one should probably not be driving. One guys $.02, certainly worth less.
