2015 impreza coffee cup holder

Of the 2 coffee cup holders, the front one is really deep so I can't put a regular coffee cup there. I was thinking of using coasters to lessen the depth.

Any other solutions would be most appreciated. Thank you.

Putting a piece of styrofoam or something at the bottom is a good idea.
