2014 Impreza premium blower motor or resistor

I recently replaced my blower motor and resistor my fan won’t turn on what should I check and replace next?

I was on the road driving and blower stopped working. It smelled like plastic burning. I replaced both the motor and resistor (old one was rusted) I turn the fan 1-4 no dice. The vent still opens and closes when I press the recirculating button. Newbie, not sure next step. The wire harness to the resistor was not burnt. I tapped the new motor also no movement.
