I have a 2013 Legacy. The dealer says the CVT transmission is shot and a valve body probably won't fix it. It also has a rod knocking in the engine. It also needs both rear hub assemblies replaced. It has about 120,000 miles on it. The body and interior are ok. The dealer wants about $16,000 to fix it. Anybody know what a car in that shape is worth ? I'm trying to decide what to do with it. I won't pay that much to have it fixed. Oh yeah, I still owe money on it.
    Thanks

Whatever Dealer your working with is COMPLETELY FULL OF SHIT!. 16k basically exceeds the value of the car. Take it somewhere else and get a second opinion. Try a subie performance shop. Most can usually rebuild everything for half that if not less. I hate hearing about dealers doing this knowing I work for one.
