2011 Subaru Legacy Limited with Nav Bottom Climate control buttons sticking

Hello, 2011 Subaru legacy limited with navigation and all of a sudden the bottom 6 climate control buttons (3 on each side of the red hazard button) have started to stick and cannot be pressed. Needless to say no a/c. Checked the interior fuses and all are ok. Any suggestions??? Thanks

Buttons can wear out. The panel/controls may have been hit by something/someone and damaged. I've seen drinks spill and gum up buttons also.

Happened instantaneously. Would the climate module going bad cause this? Thanks!
