2008 Subaru no crank no start.

I've cleaned all the grounds, I had to get a new starter the old starter was not turning over with a battery and some jumper cables. I put a wrench on the crank and it barely turns. 121k miles 5 speed not wrx. Bought it 2 weeks ago, the previous owner had it running. But the starter threads 1/4th of the threads was bad so I put in a slightly longer bolt which holds the starter tight. It's not the security, it's not any fuses I have headlights and everything else including air. Please help!!!

If you had a wrench on the crank and it barely turns, I would guess there is some internal engine damage
