Greetings everyone, I'm new to the Forums but not new to Subaru - since 2007 have owned a 2002 WRX, 2013 STi, 2010 Forester and a 2006 Impreza.
I'm selling my beloved, dependable 2006 Impreza 2.5i. Why, you ask? I need a pickup truck for work and it's time to find a new home for this gem. Here are the specs:
- VIN: JF1GD67616H509238
- Clean Carfax/AutoCheck
- 89,600 miles
- Driven ~3,000 miles per year
- I'm the second owner, bought from North Coast Subaru in 2009
- Automatic transmission (I know, I know)
- Zero accidents
- Like all car guys, the vehicle has been impeccably maintained (all scheduled maintenance performed) with detailed service records
- Original engine and transmission, have never had an issue with either or with any system in the car
- Engine is super smooth
- Zero leaks
- Body is clean with the expected wear of a car of its age including a few door dings and scratches most noticeably on the rear bumper (which have been touched up but not perfect)
- Heat and A/C work well
- Interior is very clean and never smoked in/no dogs
- Includes 3 keys (2 regular, 1 valet), two remotes and original user manuals from Subaru
- Car recently (October 6) passed NYS inspection.
Notable recent maintenance performed:
- 2023: both CV axles replaced
- 2024: new battery
- 2024: (5k miles ago) all four rotors and break pads replaced
- 2025: front windshield replaced
The only light modifications/additional included equipment are:
- Pioneer Bluetooth head unit (fit right into the factory space, nothing modified or cut)
- 1-1/4" tow hitch used for a hitch mounted bike carrier (the car has never been used to tow anything); happy to remove on request
- All weather mats (the original carpet mats included)
- Thule roof rack (not pictured but included)
- Goodyear Eagle Sport A/S 225/50R16 (92V) tires are wider and lower aspect ratio than stock, nothing modded or cut
Car runs, performs and handles just as well as she did when bought in 2009. Only issue worth nothing is the tires are old (From 2014) but they have over 50% tread left, so plenty of life.
The Impreza is located in Long Island, NY (Garden City). Asking $6,500. Car is owned outright, so easy transfer.
