Hello,

When shifting from 1st to 2nd with car at operating temp and 80+ degree outside temperatures the clutch feels like it wants to grab too soon and launch the car forward. It's a scary situation and I have begun to leave a 10-foot gap between me and the car ahead of me. If I am able to allow the car to begin rolling and ease off the clutch shifting is not as rough but if starting from a dead stop the clutch will grab stutter and launch the car. It does not stall but makes for a very bad shift. It only does this after the car has warmed up and outside temps are 80 degrees or more. All other shifting throughout the gears is normal and smooth. Is it some kind of clutch/transmission cooling problem or is the clutch wearing out and needs to be replaced? Any help would be appreciated.

Thank you!!!
