I have a 10' Tribeca that I am having to put a new ( pre-owned) 3.6 in. My question to all of you is why (when searching) will it say that and Outback 3.6 will not work with my Tribeca as they seem to be identical to each other. Is it the cradle and or motor mounts? It's just that the "specified Tribeca" is twice as much $ as a "specified Outback" engine which I get that there are probably 1,000 + to 1 Outbacks vs Tribecas and I need to go the least expensive route especially in times like these. I greatly appreciate all your help, and if you could please text me or call as my Tribeca is my only set of wheels and is sitting with the motor out and need to know ASAP.
