There was another thread here a couple of days ago in which someone asked
about the rigidity of the Forester roof with that big sunroof. Tonight I
found an exterior sunroof view in the Forester catalog. Clearly it extends
back beyond the B-pillar. Sothe roof brace that otherwise would tie the two
side rails to the B-pillars is not there. SO, I conclude that the roof with
the opening for the sunroof could not be quite as robust as one with the
brace. Whether it would make a difference in a rollover may depend on the
severity of the rollover.
