Hey all,

Bought my second 02' bugeye and the wipers worked fine. Brought it home and two days later they stopped. Both the front two and the back.

There is no ticking or anything of the sort, they simply do not turn on. How can i diagnose if it is a fuse, wire or the wiper switch that is dead? Or possible the wiper motor? I saw that I can get a test light to check if it is the motor or the fuse / wiring / switch but with no ticking it seems to be one of the three latter options.

Is there an order that I should be testing in? fairly new to all this so any advice would be appreciated before I start pulling fuses and pulling hair.

Did you look at and test the fuse? Swap it with another of the same value?

(Withholding mean jokes... :) )

Could be the wiper motor. Does the pee-er work? Can you shoot a stream of water at your window? If both are out, could be the wiper motor.

The issue has been resolved!

It is the ignition switch. It is real old and I use a remade key. It explains why sometimes it would work and sometimes it wouldn't. If I wiggle the key up and down and everything works. Very strange. Heading to autozone to pick up a new one this week.
